Deadpool & Wolverine

SPOILER

I don't like Deadpool movies, they make me bored.

I am not exaggerating when it was 18 minutes in and I had more desire to bag up my recycling and nuke some leftovers.

This movie is full of references and I loved a lot of them, but it is 30 minutes too long.  The cast is great, whether prominent or lesser, and I geeked out a lot.  It is a good movie, for a Deadpool movie.

A lot of swearing, a lot of swearing.

I would have given it a 7/10, but Dogpool running away from the battle was adorable.  I genuinely watched 90% of this movie, and I want Fox characters in Marvel now.

It is a 8/10 movie, for the abundance of references and potential movies, but still very long to experience.

I am going to get a little political here.  Donald Trump was potentially assassinated today.  I have voted Republican since 2004.  Some candidates were duds, but they were better than their Democrat alternatives in spirit if not deed.  I never regretted my votes, and still don't to this day.  I was around 6 when Reagan was shot, and never really thought I would see that in my lifetime.  I am a little shook here, and pissed off.  Do the world and America a favor:  if you are an American who votes, please vote Republican.  I usually give a glib statement about "vote for what is best for America", but in this case that is Donald Trump in 2024.  The supposed shooter had Antifa connections, another Democrat-allowed organization.  Please vote for the America you want to prosper in, not just live in.  Do research, don't just listen to the press.  That clears up a lot of spewed lies and half-truths. Thanks for reading my rant.
